Wobble Poster Design

Sketch Sound System
This was a poster created for a friend’s sound system to promote an independent night of electronic music. The poster was created using a combination of techniques and software. The initial design was hand-drawn, scanned in and then lived traced in Adobe Illustrator and shaded using a selection of pallets. The artwork was then imported into Indesign and the typography was added.
Two versions were created for a single side print and also a double sided flyer print, the poster was optimised for CMYK printing and also an RGB digital format for online advertising.

Kelloggs Special K
This was another image created for a piece of coursework whilst studying at Sacramento State University in 2007. For this project I had to work with a photographer to take the required picture which involved directing a shoot. I edited the image and created the product and packaging design. I also included another piece of work in the design, featuring the IPod as a promotional prize. This piece of work was also awarded an A grade.

Oxford Brookes University

Oxford Brookes University
I studied Computer Science at Oxford Brookes University and later transferred courses to Multimedia Design. Part of the course involved taking a year’s industrial placement and I was fortunate enough to be selected as one of two students hired by the department to work as in-house designers and developers for the University.
I created interactive, online and multimedia marketing material, producing CD-ROM prospectuses and maintaining the Technology department’s website. Responsibilities included overseeing and managing projects, meeting and coordinating with department heads to produce content and information for University prospectus guides. Liaising with publishers and printers to ensure the delivered product was to specification. Other projects included creating promotional posters for departments, organising an archival DVD for a theatrical company, which included documents, photos, audio and video.
I used a wide range of software including Final Cut and After Effects for video work, Dreamweaver and Flash for web based work and Director for interactive CD-ROMs and presentation.
Dilgenter

Dilgenter Corporate Branding
After graduating I worked for Dilgenter, a small IT solutions company in Oxford, Dilgenter was created in 2003 and in 2009 became part of Cetus Solutions Group the company architect, implement and support IT solutions based on the Citrix application delivery platform delivering knowledge accelerator packages, design and build projects, strategy workshops and on-going support.
I produced a range of material for them from portfolio covers, product sheets, and calendars and developed a branding toolkit. For my work at Dilgenter I used Photoshop and Illustrator extensively, as well as Dreamweaver and Flash.

IPod
This was produced as a piece of coursework whilst studying at Sacramento State University. The brief was to recreate an existing advertisement that incorporated digital manipulation. At the time I felt the IPod style advertisement represented a real challenge to recreate and took several hours, photographing the product at several angles, editing these original shots, then placing them into the main documents, applying the smoke effect, creating the reflection and also mocking up a similar Apple logo for the finishing touch. This piece of work was awarded an A grade.
